In just over a week the Born Heroes team will be taking on the mighty Born Survivor obstacle course in aid of Lancaster St John’s Hospice.

More than 300 people have joined the team to raise vital funds for the Slyne Road hospice.

Registration for Born Survivor, which takes place at Lowther Castle on April 4, has now closed.

Waive times have been allocated and the Born Heroes team are set to begin at 11.40am.

The Lancaster Guardian and its sister paper the Visitor have teamed up with Lancaster gym, Fitness Formation, and Born Survivor to raise £100,000 toward the Save Our Hospice campaign.

More than £23,000 has so far been raised.
