A massive 12,000 people flocked to the 198th Garstang Show last Saturday.
This is believed to be the best turnout in recent years, delighting organisers.
The show also boasted around 3,500 entrants, with entries up in light horses due to more working hunter classes and also the Horse of the Year Show qualifiers.
Horticulture entries were also up and there was lots of interest in photography and the children’s classes.
Visitors travelled from near and far and long queues formed on local roads.
The sun shone and chairman, David Hewitt, declared: “What a fantastic day we had at Garstang Show.
“Thanks to all the public who came to make all the committee’s hard work worthwhile.”
President Jean Fowler spoke of her pride in carrying out the role in memory of her late husband, Bill.
