Suzy Bunting, of organisers Lancaster Business Improvement District (BID), said: “Trading establishments brought in extra staff, they were queuing outside McDonalds, car parks were full, 4,000 visited the castle and 300 entered the Santa Dash. We’re so delighted to have shared this with so many visitors.”

The Santa Dash was in aid of Cancer Care.
