Other items sold on the day were pet beds, pet toys, pet bones and treats, and grooming products.

The show was the brainchild of Linda Raine, who works at Bay Vets Boutique in Lancaster.

Sarah Berry, development manager at Bay Vets said: “Linda thought it would be a good idea to host a doggie fashion show so we selected eight dogs of different breeds either owned by staff or friends, to strut their stuff. It was a great success and all proceeds raised, together with a donation from Bay Vets, in total £280, were donated to Wolfwood, Animal Care, Dogs for the Disabled and Save a Pet.”
