Join young Mary Lennox on her journey of discovery as she travels to her uncle’s house deep in the countryside, where unexpected friends and very magical creatures help her unlock the mystery of the secret garden.
This enchanting story will come to Lancaster’s Grand Theatre next Tuesday, September 8.
Alive with music and song and an array of specially designed theatre puppets, the play is presented in beautiful garden settings across the UK and Ireland.
Laura Turner, script writer at Chapterhouse Theatre, said: “The Secret Garden is one of those rare stories that appeals to children and adults alike. It captures the joy of being alive and encourages us to trust in ourselves and believe the seemingly impossible, because with a little bit of self-belief the most extraordinary things can happen.”
Tickets cost £13 for adults and £9 for concessions and are available from the box office on 01524 64695 or visit www.lancastergrand.co.uk
