THREE local artists have been inspired by the magical theme of this summer’s Dukes park production.

The trio are exhibiting their work at the Moor Lane theatre, ahead of Merlin and The Legend of King Arthur, which runs in Williamson Park from July 8 – August 13.

Theirs is one of two exhibitions being held at The Dukes gallery this summer as the momentum gathers for what will be its 25th anniversary park show.

Take 3 features work by Michaela Bradbury, John Watkins and Marion McBurnie, who have explored the themes behind Merlin’s medieval tale of magic and myth.

All three are second year students on a BA (Hons) fine art and professional practice degree course at Blackpool and the Fylde Art and Design College, which is accredited by Lancaster University.

Take 3 is on display from 10am – 11pm, Monday to Saturday. The exhibition, which is free of charge, runs until July 5.
