TRIBUTES have been paid to a Carnforth teenager who was found dead on a railway line in the town.

Lancaster & Morecambe College student Alan Woods, 17, is believed to have been hit by a train on Saturday morning.

Dozens of Facebook messages have been left paying respects to the former Carnforth High School pupil, who lived on the town’s Highfield estate.

Friends called him “an absolute legend,” “an amazing man,” “one of the most respected and loved people I will ever know” and “the nicest guy (you) could ever meet, always had a smile and always having fun.”
