STAFF at Lancashire County Council have paid tribute to Charlotte Conroy-Taylor, who died in a freak accident.
Mrs Conroy-Taylor was crushed to death by a hay bale at Beaumont Grange Farm in Slyne-with-Hest on May 31.
The 45-year-old, who lived in Brookhouse with her husband Ian and 12-year-old daughter Zara, worked as a youth justice area manager at Lancashire County Council.
Stasia Osiowy, head of Lancashire’s youth justice, fostering and adoption services, said: “Charlotte joined Lancashire County Council in 1994 as a social worker. Charlotte worked for Lancashire’s Youth Offending Team for 11 years and was appointed operations manager in 2003. In 2007, she became an area manager.
“Charlotte was highly professional and cared passionately about the young people she worked with. During her time with the Lancashire Youth Offending Team, Charlotte made a significant contribution and difference to the lives of the children and young people involved in Lancashire YOT and to the staff and managers.”
