Tim brings strings ‘n’ swings

Swinging fiddle sensation Tim Kliphuis returns to Hornby Village Hall on Friday March 22.

The internationally acclaimed jazz violinist will perform his trademark blend of jazz standards, classical and folk repertoire, ably assisted by Roy Percy on bass and Nigel Clark on guitar.

Tim’s command of his instrument and his ability to blend fiery improvisation with lyrical and heartfelt melodic playing has left audiences around the world spellbound.

Not only a highly skilled musician, but also a personable and witty presenter, his broad choice of repertoire offers something for all tastes.

The intimate and friendly setting of Hornby Village Institute is the perfect place to see this remarkable musician, who visits as the latest guest for the Jazz In Hornby series organised by Sam Ashton.
