YOUNG people in South Lakeland are being urged to take part in organised activities to make the most of their summer holidays.
A range of activities has been organised in the area by police and partner agencies to keep youngsters occupied.
They include circus training, art workshops, a beauty session and military fitness.
They also provide an opportunity for young people to learn new, fun skills, keep in touch with friends and make new ones.
The aim is to try and keep them out of trouble and stop a minority of them from engaging in antisocial behaviour.
Assistant Chief Constable Jerry Graham, the county’s lead on neighbourhood policing, said: “This is a great opportunity for young people to get the most out of their summer holidays and take part in activities which they normally wouldn’t do.
