Have your say

Have you always wanted to sing your heart out, learn some new songs, and find out why singing is good for our health?

Now is your chance to have a go, with free taster sessions available at Lancashire County Council libraries and museums plus other venues across the county throughout September.

The singing workshops are part of Up for Arts, a joint project between the county council, Voluntary Arts England and BBC Radio Lancashire which encourages people to try something creative. Suitable for everyone, the sessions will be led by singing tutors and choirs from across Lancashire.

There will be no need to be able to read music or be a regular singer.

Lancaster library in Market Square is holding a session on September 6.
