Scalp ripped in bar attack
The Carnforth Inn.
TWO women suffered terrible injuries in separate incidents in Carnforth.
In the first attack a woman had part of her scalp ripped off.
The 45-year-old victim was drinking in the Carnforth Hotel on North Road at 6.30pm on Friday, January 20, when another woman approached her, grabbed her hair and dragged her to the floor.
Part of the woman’s scalp, a 10cm x 2cm patch of skin and hair, was torn away during the assault and she was left seriously injured.
Police said she would probably require plastic surgery.
