The ninth Silverdale and Arnside Art and Craft Trail will open for registration today, November 20.

The trail, a three-day event that takes place during the last weekend of June, is hosted primarily by the neighbouring villages of Arnside and Silverdale, which are located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of Morecambe Bay.

The 2013 trail will take place from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30, with applications welcome from local and visiting artists and craftspeople.

In 2012, more than 70 exhibitors took part in more than 30 different venues.

Studios, workshops and homes were thrown open to visitors to view, participate in and purchase a wide array of art and craft work.

Registration will open with a general meeting and social supper at The Silverdale Hotel on Tuesday, November 20, at 7.30pm.

To reserve a supper, please contact joint coordinator, Debbie Copley, on 01524 702563. To register for the event, or to find out more, visit www.silverdalearttrail.co.uk.

Registration deadline is midnight on Thursday, February 28, 2013.
