Customers at Sainsbury’s Morecambe are set to be offered a helping hand at the till by supporting a local cause.
Volunteers from the Prince’s Trust will be providing a bag-packing service for customers on July 24 and 25 to raise money for the charity’s cause of supporting young people in the community.
The youth charity, situated locally in Morecambe Community Fire Station, have been supported by Sainsbury’s Morecambe for several years.
The store have supported the charity in the past with bag packs to help raise funds.
Customers will be able to make a donation to the group on the day, with collection buckets being situated on the back of every checkout.
Store manager, Steve Spencer added: “It’s always helpful to have support during the busy summer holidays, so we’re delighted to invite the Prince’s Trust Team to help us out and we hope the day helps to raise awareness of our partnership with them”.
