POLICE have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to trace following an incident at a B&Q store in Lancaster.

Around 7.40pm on Monday, May 23, a woman entered the store on Aldcliffe Road and requested a refund for a number of kitchen doors.

The refund was granted and the woman left the store. However, on later inspection it was discovered that old kitchen doors had been put inside the original packaging.

PC Phil Salliss said: “This was a very sneaky crime and we need to find the person responsible. I am very keen to speak with a woman who was captured on CCTV in the store that evening and would urge anybody who knows this woman to contact police.”

Anybody with any information is asked to call police on 08451 25 35 45 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
