The first incident attack took place in Denis Street, where a 32-year-old man was attacked by two offenders who took his phone and wallet.

The second was on Shaw Street where two students aged 20 and 23 were also attacked and had their phones and wallets stolen.

One of the attackers is described as a white man, aged around 25, 6ft 2in, with a large build and short dark hair.

He has a local accent and was wearing a smart black jumper and dark coloured jeans.
