Think about last Christmas and the Christmas before that.
Did you put any weight on? If so, why? Are you going to do it again this year?
I want you to try and stick to these few very simple but very powerful habits over the coming weeks and I promise you they will help keep you on the right track.
Try to drink between two to three litres of water a day. Get your sleep right, by trying to go to bed at the same time every night and waking up at the same time every morning.
Get a portion of protein at every single meal and load up on as many green vegetables as you like.
Lastly, try to do something active every day.
Literally aim for 20 to 30 minutes a day.
That’s it. Super simple and foolproof to follow.
Follow these throughout December and you will limit your weight gain this year.
You may even lose weight.
Last week our recipe went down very well, so here is another for you to try tonight.
Very simple and easy to make, plus it will feed the whole family for relatively little money.
Creamy chicken curry with spinach
1lb skinless chicken breasts, sliced
3 tsp coconut oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp fresh chopped ginger
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1 celery stick, chopped
400g chopped tinned tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato puree
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 tsp masala
200g baby spinach
Melt oil in a pan, add the onion, garlic, ginger, chilli and celery and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
Stir in the tomatoes, puree, spices and water. Increase the heat to medium and bring to the boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the yoghurt to the sauce, stir then add in the chicken and cook for 15 minutes.
Stir in the spinach and cook for just a further 2 minutes before serving.
