Today marks the day of the first out of six installments of our summer body special.
Week one is all about making that first step.
Quite literally. “They” say it takes anywhere between one and six months to form a behavior into a habit.
I say that is rubbish. You simply decide what you want, rid yourself of all excuses and work towards that goal, every single day without letting anything get in your way.
I get it, you’re busy right?
No time, can’t afford the gym, buying healthy food is expensive and you don’t know what to do.
I am sorry, but I am calling you out on every single excuse you have.
If you really want to be in the best shape of your life for summer, it is going to take commitment, dedication and no excuses.
It will be hard at the start. Like really hard.
However, the more focused you are, the stricter you are with yourself and the longer you push forward, the easier it gets.
Everything starts to slowly fall into place.
There will be days where you want to stop, you don’t want this anymore, it is too hard and you question why you started.
That day is your defining day.
On that day, you absolutely must move forward with conviction and unwavering dedication to the original goal.
Get through “that” day and you will be unstoppable.
So for now, think about what you want, pin it down (whatever it is, it is unique to you, no one else), write it down and ask yourself why you want said goal.
It should be so strong that no day is too hard, no session is unwanted, no meal is skipped and no matter what, you keep going because of this reason why.
Take your time defining this as this is what separates the winners from the ‘could have been’ winners.
As soon as you have your reason why, start to take action on a daily basis and your momentum will move mountains, I promise you. Next week we are going to discuss the basics of nutrition. It is not as complicated as you might think.
