Lancashire Age UK and The Dukes in Lancaster aim to loosen up the vocal chords with their latest event aimed at making the arts more accessible to older people.
Singing Out is a fun singing event for older people at the Lancaster venue from 1pm - 3.15pm on June 12.
Led by Anni Tracy from More Music, the aim of the workshop is for people to enjoy and develop their singing. It is open to any older people who enjoy singing – including the many who have been told at some time in their life that they can’t sing!
The £3 admission also includes tea, coffee or fruit juice. Places should be booked in advance by calling The Dukes box office on 01524 598500 or visit www.dukes-lancaster.org. Age UK Lancashire is offering assistance with transport to this event for those who need it. For more information, call 01524 387840.
Singing Out is the latest in a series of events run by The Dukes in collaboration with Age UK Lancashire to encourage easier access to the arts for older people.
