A new radio show will cover some of the big issues in The Visitor and our sister newspaper the Lancaster Guardian.

The Resident will be hosted by The Visitor and Guardian content editor Greg Lambert every Tuesday night at 6pm.

The one-hour show will air on Lancaster district’s new community radio station Beyond Radio.

Featuring music, chat, guests and local issues, it can be heard on 103.5FM or at the website www.beyondradio.co.uk

Beyond Radio launched last month and is run entirely by volunteers.

It broadcasts from a studio in the old pavilion in Palatine Park in Bowerham, Lancaster.

Beyond Radio aims to air a mix of programming with something to suit all tastes with a focus on local and specialist music and local
presenters.

Greg’s studio guest on the debut show tonight (August 16) will be Lancashire County and Lancaster City councillor, and Morecambe Town Council chairman Darren Clifford.

Darren will be answering questions from listeners and talking to Greg about his life andsome of the big issues affecting local people.
