New Aldi supermarket opens in market town

A new Aldi supermarket will open its doors in Carnforth this Thursday, October 23, at 8am.

To celebrate, a golden envelope containing a special ticket to win prizes including a 32” Full HD LED TV, 7” Tablet PCs, £100s in Aldi vouchers, and much more will be handed out to the first one hundred people in the queue on opening day.

Aldi has partnered with Carnforth Rangers FC to sponsor the Under 7s team kits and training equipment for this season.

Members from the team will be there on the day to officially open the new store.

The new Carnforth store on Scotland Road will create 40 jobs, providing a range of opportunities for local people and additional roles can be found online at www.aldirecruitment.co.uk.

The store will be served by over 80 car parking spaces and will provide 1,450 product lines and customers can expect a wide range of good quality and locally sourced produce.

Aldi store manager, Tim Robinson said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new store in Carnforth.”
