Teacher Gill McKechnie looks delighted with the results of a charity hair cut to raise money for children with cancer.

The Morecambe Community High School languages teacher had her hair chopped for the Little Princess Trust who provide real-hair wigs free of charge to boys and girls who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other illnesses.

Gill, who raised more than £700 in total, was inspired by one of her students, Olivia Lambert, who did the same last year.
