A DISTRAUGHT woman has made an emotional plea for information about her missing partner.

Stuart Taylor, who grew up in Lancaster, went missing in Leicestershire two weeks before Christmas and has not been seen since. And now his partner Lorraine Templeton is hoping he has somehow made his way back to the area he knows so well. Mr Taylor, who will be 47 on February 11, disappeared from Market Harborough on December 13 after a medical appointment.

Despite several possible sightings of him in the area, he has not been found.

Mr Taylor’s elderly parents still live in the Lancaster area, and Miss Templeton believes he could have come back north.

The couple had recently been considering a move back to the Lancaster district.

“This is out of character for Stuart,” Miss Templeton, 48, said. “I spent Christmas on my own not knowing if the person I love and care for is alive and well.

“Stuart’s elderly parents live in Lancaster and he is their only child, so needless to say they are going out of their minds with worry.

“Not knowing is the worst thing in the world; being left in limbo with no closure.

“I just want people in the area to keep a look out; he may have a beard by now which will alter his appearance.

“Stuart regularly visited Arnside, Silverdale and Kirkby Lonsdale when visiting his parents.

“We used to stay regularly at The Mill at Condor Green, because we could take our dogs.”
