Men in court over drugs find

TWO Lancaster men were due to appear in court today, Thursday, charged with possession of a shotgun and possession of class A, B and C drugs.

Adam Bradley, 18, of Denny Avenue, and Neil Bradley, 20, of Austwick Road, were remanded in police custody after being charged with the offences.

The charges follow the recovery of a holdall by police from waste ground at the rear of Austwick Road on the Ryelands Estate, on June 18.

Within the bag were machetes, a 0.410 calibre shotgun together with a quantity of shotgun cartridges for that weapon, a quantity of cocaine, cannabis resin and Buprenorphine, a Class C drug.
