A 20-YEAR-OLD Lancaster man has appeared in court charged with four robberies and two attempted robberies.
Kingsley Chorlton, of Morley Road, Vale, did not enter a plea when he appeared before Lancaster magistrates on Friday.
He is charged with carrying out four robberies in the Lancaster district - one on Sunday, February 13 and the others on Saturday, February 19.
Chorlton is also charged with two attempted robberies in Garstang in January.
Magistrates heard that some of the robberies were committed after February 15 while he was on bail.
Chorlton was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on March 7.
