LANCASTER, Manchester and Paris are joining forces on Sunday night to provide a live session of strange tunes, raw fuzz and “gnarled, catchy-as-a-cold garage punk”, to promote the city’s most travelled of bands’ new single.
The Lovely Eggs have been touring the cities of Europe of late, providing a concisely random account of their movements online, while also finding time to squeeze out their new LP Cob Dominos, complete with handwritten letter accompanied 12” vinyl.
They head up a four-strong line-up at the Yorkshire House on Sunday night.
First up will be Charlene Darling from Paris, who is a solo musician, playing her weird tunes straight from the gutters of Paris, and then Lancaster noise addicts Joyeux will be back playing live after quite a while away.
On third will be Manchester duo Float Riverer, described as playing “gnarled, catchy-as-a-cold garage punk.”
