The Heysham Branch of the Labour Party celebrated the dedication and long service to local politics of two of its members.

Dilys Greenhalgh and Lily Johnstone have worked tirelessly for the Labour Party over many years. In recognition of their contribution both were made honorary life members of the Heysham Branch and were presented with framed certificates and flowers by Cllr Alan Biddulph (Chair of the Heysham Labour Party Branch). Although she was unable to be there, Geraldine Smith (Morecambe’s former MP) also sent personal thank you cards to them both.
