Three local men will be cycling from Blackpool Tower to the Eiffel Tower to raise money for charities close to their hearts.
Andy Taylor, Paul Taylor and Andy Jennings set off on Sunday on the 570-mile trip, which is expected to take six days to complete.
They will raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund, which supports bowel cancer research, and The MuirMaxwell Trust, which helps children with epilepsy.
One of the reasons for doing this challenge is to celebrate Andy Taylor being clear of bowel cancer for the last two years after chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, and to raise awareness for younger people that if you do have any symptoms you should go and see your GP.
Andy Jennings has a particular reason for supporting The MuirMaxwell Trust – his young nephew Jack has Dravet syndrome, a rare form of childhood epilepsy.

They will be updating their web page with photos and news of their progress.
