Do you know a child that would love a job where they get to eat delicious food, boss around the adults and play all day long?

Youngsters in Morecambe are being invited to apply for a dream job with a difference.

Fayre & Square pub restaurant Station Promenade on at Station Buildings has teamed up with soft play provider Wacky Warehouse to hunt for fun-loving, enthusiastic and opinionated children to join a board of 10 Little Leaders.

The mini Directors will sit alongside the company’s top bosses to influence projects ranging from the new kids’ menu to the next level of Wacky fun.

Ideal candidates must have at least five years’ experience in play as well as be an expert in ‘funology’.

They will also have incredible pester power abilities that regularly leave them with mum and dad wrapped around their finger, and be able to work as a team to ensure only their favourite dishes make it onto the new menu.

The board of Little Leaders will come together at the headquarters for Wacky Warehouse and Fayre & Square in Burton upon Trent where they’ll spend the day working with chefs to create new dishes, design the look and style of the menu and most importantly test out new play equipment for Wacky Warehouse.

Additionally, for taking part each chosen Little Leader will receive a Merlin Annual Pass, a family party at their local Fayre & Square pub restaurant, and a Wacky VIP Gold Card, which entitles them to unlimited access to the play centre for 12 months.

Andrew Robson, general manager of the Station Promenade, said “Children are known for making their voices heard but they’re not always listened to, so we decided to mix things up and give the kids a chance to call the shots for a change.

“With our board of Little Leaders we want the kids to tell the adults what to do for a change, and to help develop the kids menu that they want.

“If your child is bubbly and wants to have a say in the food they’re eating and the equipment they’re playing on, we want to hear from them.”

Entrants must be aged between five and eight and must be available to battle the boardroom on April 10, 2014.

Parents or family members can nominate a child through the Fayre & Square website: www.fayre-square.com or on the Fayre & Square Facebook page: www.facebook.com/fayreandsquare. Entries should be submitted before 21st March, winners will be notified by phone or email after the competition has closed.
