Lancaster shotgun man bailed

A Lancaster man who was armed with a shotgun and arrested near Williamson Park has been bailed by police.

Police received reports of a man who had alledgedly been seen with a shotgun in the Stone Row Head area.

The 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace and possessing a shotgun with intent to cause fear of violence in the Grimeshaw Lane area, around 8.20pm on Sunday May 15.

He has been bailed until May 31.
