North West Air Ambulance.

North West Air Ambulance.

All three of the North West Air Ambulance’s aircraft were grounded after a fault with a fuel gauge.

The helicopters were among 16 across the UK removed from service for urgent checks and are the same model as the one which crashed into a pub in Glasgow, killing ten people including three on board.

The fleet has now been cleared to resume operations again.
