Lancaster & District Chamber of Commerce is pulling out all the stops this year for its first ever Chamber Ball.
With president Angela Seel, who was installed in June this year, and new Chamber manager, Vicky Lofthouse, now at the helm, the pair are aiming to make this event a really special one.
The Masquerade Ball will be held at the Midland Hotel in Morecambe on Friday, October 25 and promises an evening of luxury, fine dining and quality entertainment, starting with a drinks reception and followed by a four course dinner, auction and a DJ and dancing.
Proceeds from the Masquerade Ball will go to local charities, Cancercare and St John’s Hospice.
Vicky Lofthouse said: “The Chamber has held an annual dinner for many years, but we decided to do something really different this year.
“Our Masquerade Ball will be an elegant and fun evening for all, and of course we will be raising funds for two very worthwhile local causes.”
Angela Seel is the Chamber’s first female president for 10 years. She is director of ACS Wealth Management Ltd and a partner of the prestigious St James’s Place Partnership, the sole advisory channel of the St James’s Wealth Management Group.
She has been involved with the Chamber for more than 15 years and a board member for several years.
She said: “I am delighted to invite businesses from across the district to the Chamber’s inaugural ball and I look am really looking forward to meeting colleagues from a broad range of companies at what promises to be a wonderful evening.”
Dress code is black tie, evening gowns and masks.
The Masquerade Ball is supported by businesses including Photobaby and Printing Plus.
Tickets for the ball are limited and are available from Lancaster & District Chamber of Commerce or you can book online at www.lancaster-chamber.org.uk or email email@example.com. £45+VAT for Chamber members or table of eight for £345+VAT. Non-members £85.
