An appeal is being made for the driver of a black car that was being driven along Crag Bank Road in Crag Bank, near Carnforth, at 5.35am on Saturday, July 26 to come forward to the police following a cyclist being knocked from his bike on the A6 heading towards Carnforth.

The cyclist suffered minor injuries to his left hand side following the accident and repair work is required to the bike.

PC Byrony Fell, from Lancaster & Morecambe Police, added “The driver of this car stopped at the time of the incident but no details were obtained.

“If the male driver himself could contact me directly, this matter can be dealt with in an amicable manner.”
