Crowds of people attended a Service of Remembrance in Lancaster on Sunday, in honour of those that died in World War I.

Wreathes were laid at the cenotaph in the Garden of Remembrance next to the Town Hall, and this was followed by a service in the Priory Church at 11.30am.

There was a parade and March Past leaving the Priory Church at approximately 12.25pm ending at Lancaster Town Hall.

Parades and wreath laying ceremonies also took place in Morecambe and Carnforth.
