A total of £312.88 was raised on the day and will be donated to Breast Cancer Awareness and Wear It Pink, with more money due to come in from the staff personnel donation of an hour’s pay scheme at LMC.

Among the activities was ‘guess the sweets’ and ‘guess the name of the teddy bear’. The Foundation Learning team made and sold cakes, Students’ Union officer Frank Longdon organised the tombola, the personnel department organised a date game and the sports department got involved with their Top Gear Challenge. The catering department won the Percy Pig Trophy in recognition of their fantastic efforts to support the event.
