Lancaster digital agency Fat Media is celebrating after being shortlisted in this year’s Prolific North Awards – the only agency from Lancashire in the category.

Almost 300 entries were received from a wide variety of companies, organisations and institutions from across the north and the shortlist was announced on March 18.

Judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts, including Richard Frediani, senior programme editor for ITN, and Nina Aggarwal, managing director and co-founder of brand and innovation agency, Fusion Learning, the two-stage process determined the shortlist with Fat Media named in the Large Digital Agency category.

John French, co-founder of the award-winning digital agency, now their client services director, said the whole Fat Media family are delighted at the news.

He said: “Making the finals for such a prestigious award is a testament to the outstanding work delivered for clients over the last 12 months.

“We are hugely proud to be flying the creative flag for Lancashire and are proud to continue to grow our northern operations.”

Last year’s Prolific North Awards saw 750 people come together for the sector’s biggest gathering and celebration of talent outside London.

This year’s awards dinner will be held at The Point at Lancashire County Cricket Club on Thursday April 28, which for the first time will be presented by comedian, actor, writer and radio presenter Justin Moorhouse.
