Lancaster Guardian enjoys apprenticeships success
Booths Carnforth apprentice, Madi Winder with Karen Pecsvaradi head of faculty at Lancaster and Morecambe College for service industries, business and workplace learning, Booths training co-ordinator Carol Norcott and Lancaster Guardian editor Steve Brauner.
We did it! The Lancaster Guardian has reached its goal of creating 100 apprenticeships in 100 days.
Madi Winder, 18, was the apprentice who helped us reach our target when she signed up for a business administration apprenticeship with Booths supermarket in Carnforth.
The 100 in 100 campaign, which we ran in partnership with Lancaster & Morecambe College, has now seen 109 apprentices taken on by firms across the district.
