Lancaster comedy group to perform script-free

THE latest show from the Improv Rejects takes place at the Storey Institute, Lancaster, on October 7.

Improv Rejects are a Lancaster based improv comedy group who perform without the aid and comfort blanket of scripts.

A spokesman for the group said: “It’s up to the audience, yes the audience how each improvised scene goes.

By using audience suggestions we have to create a scene spontaneously without rehearsal, without pre-discussion, we just have to do it and hope our improv technique, skill and training comes to the rescue.

“Therefore, literally anything can happen. It’s all about creativity and imagination, which usually leads to lots of laughter and even if we get it all wrong that leads to even more laughter.”

The show starts at at 8pm. Entry is £2 on the door with all profit going to St John’s Hospice Lancaster.
