A MOTORCYCLIST who died following a collision with a car in Morecambe has been named.
George Allott, 46, of Slyne, died after his white Honda motorbike collided with a black Vauxhall Vectra in Mellishaw Lane on Tuesday afternoon.
He was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary but died shortly afterwards.

"I am particularly keen to speak to a man in his 50s wearing glasses who stopped at the scene and spoke to staff at the VW garage. His information could be very important."
Anyone with any information about the accident, which happened near the Volkswagen garage just after 5pm, is asked to contact Lancaster police on 01524 63333.
