Man’s leg crushed in Heysham accident

A man had to be airlifted to hospital after crushing his leg in an industrial accident.

North West Air Ambulance said they were called out at 11.20am on November 6 to Heysham Business Park.

North West Ambulance Service said the 31-year-old man had an ankle and lower leg crush injury.

He was airlifted to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary for treatment.
