Lancaster Police Station.

Lancaster Police Station.

The M6 has reopened after a portable cabin fell off a wagon blocking two lanes to traffic.

Police said they were dealing with the incident, which occurred at junction 34 Lancaster earlier today, Friday.

A police spokesperson said: “Nobody has been injured and there has been no collision.

“Traffic can enter the carriageway on the slip road at junction 34.

“Our advice is to avoid the area as it is likely to be blocked for some considerable time.

“At this stage we do not know if this has happened because of the weather.”
