Girl sexually assaulted on cycle path
A SCHOOLGIRL was sexually assaulted as she walked along the Lancaster-Morecambe cycle path at night.
The 16-year-old was on the path near Asda when she was approached by a man who attempted to strike up a conversation with her.
She pushed him away but he then repeatedly touched her buttocks. She eventually shook him off, re-iterating that she was not interested in his overtures.
The man is described as white, aged 20-23, and of medium build.
He had dark stubble and was wearing a light coloured baseball cap and a dark hooded top bearing a Lacoste logo.
