Carnforth man wants to talk to vandals

A CARNFORTH man whose car was vandalised has offered to help whoever caused the damage.

Ecological lifestyle practitioner Magnus Mulliner said he is willing to meet with the offender to discuss their actions.

Mr Mulliner's car was parked in Market Street in the early hours of last Thursday when it is alleged a youth walked across the top of it, smashing the front windscreen, damaging the wipers, and denting the roof.

Around 1,000 worth of damage was caused to the 22,000

silver Toyota Prius.

Mr Mulliner, who is trained in restorative justice and works as a volunteer for the Youth Offending Service, said: "If we are to learn from our actions a safe haven needs to be created so we can be honest.

"I would like some sort of reparation and would be willing to learn and work with this youth to 're-programme' their mindset.

"I will be able to share my experiences as the victim."

Anyone who can help Mr Mulliner should contact him either on 07985 288169 or through Carnforth Post Office.
