Biker killed in A65 collision

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after his bike collided with a tractor in Austwick on Wednesday.

The 73-year-old, who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on the A65 near Owlett Hall Farm.

The Suzuki motorbike and the tractor - which was pulling a trailer - were both travelling south when the accident happened at around 11.30am.

Any witnesses to the crash, particularly another motorcyclist thought to be in the area at the time, are asked to contact traffic officer Stephen Wood on 0845 6060 247, quoting 12100145530.
