A fashion show will take place today (April 7) in memory of a popular Lancaster woman.

The fashion show in memory of Pamela Moore has sold out.

The Renes Lapelle fashion show commemorating the life of Pamela Moore has sold 150 tickets. The show at Lancaster Town Hall on Thursday April 7 will raise money for Lancaster St John’s Hospice.

Pamela was at the heart of ladies fashion in Lancaster for 60 years when she owned Renes Lapelle on Common Garden Street. Daughter Tiffany, sister Brenda and Tiffany’s cousin Amanda organised the event as Pamela always wanted to hold a fashion show at the town hall.

The show will take place at 6.30pm and canapés and a glass of prosecco will be presented upon arrival. The Mayor of Lancaster Jon Barry and the Mayoress will open the show and ten models will take part. There will be a raffle and auction and local singer Rachel Mercer will perform. Dr Sayer, a consultant at St John’s Hospice, will give a talk as well as the team from hospice.
