A NAVIGATION and hill walking challenge takes place this weekend in aid of the Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team (BPMRT).
The event, which begins from a campsite at Guys Farm, Scorton, will involve teams of between two and six adults visiting as many points as possible from a list of specified grid references within a 10-hour period.
The teams, should arrive between 4pm and 7pm on Friday July 15 and will then plan their routes for the challenge the following day.
Prizes will be awarded for the winning teams.
Competitors will camp at the site on the Friday and Saturday nights but camping equipment will not need to be carried during the event.
Meals will be provided on both evenings.
