Have your say

In a few simple steps you can raise money for St John’s Hospice and have fun baking at the same time.

The first of many events throughout our year-long Save Our Hospice campaign is our Festive Cake Bake in the week of December 2 to December 8.

Here’s how you can help us on our way to raising £500,000 and vital awareness to help preserve St John’s Hospice for future generations.

*Encourage all your family, friends, colleagues or classmates to don their aprons and bake their best tasty treats for a Festive Cake Bake on any day between December 2 and 8.

*Go home and bake your cake and pay a small sum to bring it back into work, school or simply a get together with friends on your chosen date.

*Feast your eyes on everyone’s cakes and sell them to raise even more vital cash for the Save Our Hospice campaign

*Ring The Visitor and Lancaster Guardian office to tell us about your Festive Cake Bake beforehand and
we can come along and take pictures and video of your baking extravaganza to feature in our papers and online.

We’ve had support from cake shops in Lancaster and Morecambe, including Jennifer Coatsworth owner of the Yummy Cupcake Company. right, but we want you to get involved too.

If you bake a mean cake and have tips or recipes you want to share, or are planning to hold a Festive Cake Bake to help Save Our Hospice, email adam.lord@jpress.co.uk or call 01524 834049.
