NHS Lancashire North Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is asking for local residents to get involved in local health services by marking them on their performance in certain areas.
The CCG is required to evaluate its performance on Equality, Diversity and Human Rights in accordance with the NHS Equality Delivery System.
Therefore, during September 2014, the CCG will be completing a series of grading activities.
As a result of this, they are sending a plea out for local people who would be interested in becoming an Equality Delivery System grader to get in touch.
Dr David Wrigley, a local GP with responsibility for patient engagement at the CCG, said: “We want to make improvements to our services for everyone in the Lancashire North area.We really want local residents to take part in this.”
A workshop for people to become grading panellists has been arranged for Thursday, September 4, at the CCG headquarters, Moor Mills, Moor Lane, Lancaster from 9.30am to 1pm, with a further event to grade the information on Thursday , September25 .
