A MUSIC and arts festival organised and hosted by some of the area’s most talented young people is set to take place in Lancaster on Sunday, June 5.
Larks in the Park will feature three stages – a main stage, acoustic stage and urban stage – as well as a spoken word stage in the wonderful setting of Williamson Park.
The event is unique in that all the performers are aged under 24. The project, called Aspire, is the culmination of work put together by Young Addaction Lancashire North, with help from the YMCA, More Music, Lancaster and Morecambe College and Global Link.
As well as three stages there will be circus acts, workshops, food stalls and a 35ft inflatable football pitch to keep people entertained.
