A LANCASTER support group for families of children with Down’s syndrome has celebrated its first birthday.
The group, which meets every first Saturday of the month at Appletree Children’s Centre, provides play, social activities and information.
The team provides members with information on local and national issues and updates on local facilities.
The group has also held a summer garden party and Christmas party, and on Monday lunchtime will have a cake stall at Lancaster University in aid of the group and the Down’s Syndrome Association.
